Are you MDAR Certified? What does that mean?

• Yes, we are. Which means we meet the standards set in place by the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources. Click here to see recent certification!

 

How do I join the waitlist?

• Simply fill out the waitlist form with the breed(s) and quantity you're interested in and we will contact you when availability opens

 

Do you require a deposit?

• Yes, a non-refundable deposit is required to hold hatching eggs and started pullets once we contact you with availability. This helps keeps things fair and prevents no shows from occurring.

• We accept Apple Pay, PayPal, Cashapp, Venmo & Cash

 

Do you sex your chicks?

• No, all chicks are sold straight-run.

 

Do you offer shipping?

• No, local pickup only.

 

Are your birds vaccinated?

• No, our birds are not routinely vaccinated. Because we operate as a small intentional hobby breeding program, we don't have the demand or storage capacity required to purchase the large bulk quantities they are sold in. We prioritize strong on-farm bio-security, responsible flock management and maintaining naturally robust and resilient lines 

 

Do you allow farm visits or tours?

• No, for strict biosecurity reasons we do not offer tours but, we often update our Facebook page with pictures.

• Pick ups are done in the front of the house, away from the flocks.

 

What age are your started pullets?

• They typically range from 8 - 12 weeks depending on the growth-rate of the breed.

 

What is your rooster policy?

• For started pullets we take back roosters at no additional costs. This does not apply to chicks sold straight-run
